Anonymous asked: do you believe in love at first sight?

The future's coming soon.
I’m a junior in high school. This time next year, I’ll be applying to colleges. Everything is just moving by so quickly and I’m not entirely sure how prepared I am for it. I just got off the phone with my boyfriend about the future (what colleges we want to go to, what our career choices are) and it just opened my eyes to the fact that I should cherish the time we have together...

Chivalry isn't dead.
One of my really close guy friends just called me and we talked for a while because he was planning to send flowers to his girl. He said, “I always spend money on her. I’m trying to think logically but love makes me think irrationally. Is that what love does?” Haha. When it came to the online order form that asked what he wanted the card to say, he joked around saying,...

One of our more meaningful conversations
Him: -out of nowhere- You're different, babe.
Me: Hmm? What's that supposed to.mean?
Him: You know how you say I'm different from all the other guys? Well you're different from all the other girls. It's just.. your personality.. no one thinks like you do, no one is as caring as you are.. You're just different babe.

On that school grind.
I had my dad test me on my history terms that I need to know for tomorrow’s quiz. I’m pretty prepared, but I hope I’m prepared enough to get a decent grade on the test tomorrow! I have an A- and don’t want it to go any lower. I hate borderline grades. Anyways, the first week of my two consecutive busy weeks includes: •Monday: Link Crew training 3:15-4:00; get my HC dress...

There is never a night where I go to sleep unhappy nor is there ever a day that I am unthankful. Ever since you danced your way into my life, you have brought with you so much joy that encompasses every region of my being. You understand me in a way that no one else does and you never fail to provide me with reassurance. I couldn’t be any more grateful for all that you are and everything you...

I love making my parents proud.
I’ve been working my butt off in school recently and it’s paying off. My mom just called and told me, “Good job on your grade in Psychology.” I boosted it up to an A! I’m like crying right now because it’s nice to hear that my hard work is paying off and that I’m making my parents proud.

This is the first time in a long time that I don’t have homework. I forgot what it was like to not stress over homework and to enjoy the day instead. It’s nice, man. It’s definitely nice to have a break once in a while from working my butt off in school.

Before my shift at the football game yesterday, I spent some time with my boyfriend just sitting down on a bench at school and enjoying each other’s company. We talked about little things and just made each other laugh. As he walked me to the football field so I can start my shift, he hugged me and said, “I don’t want you to go.” My response was, “Why not babe? You...

It’s not that I’ve put too much on my plate; I just have a lot of things to do as of recently. I can handle everything I set myself up for but sometimes I just feel like there aren’t enough hours in a day to accomplish everything I need to.

I am so blessed to have a significant other who gives me daily reassurance, even if I don’t ask for it. I never get tired of hearing how much he cares about me.

Although I don’t have straight A’s, I’m pretty proud of myself for keeping up the grades that I have. They have most definitely improved from last year, that’s for sure. I’ve been working my butt off in school, hoping that it pays off. I’m doing good in all my classes! … and then there’s chemistry with Barbour.. -___-

Winchester Mystery House Maze tomorrow with the junior class officers/commissioners. After reading the reviews and seeing pictures.. omg, I am scared out of my mind. I would back out but then my friends wouldn’t have a ride there.. Damn.. Haha. I get scared easily, so I don’t know how this is gonna work out, considering the maze is one of the top 10 scariest Halloween Haunts..

The audacity of some people, man. You would think that by the time we’ve entered high school, people would mature up and learn to handle problems in a more proper manner.

It is the most irritable thing ever when certain situations get blown out of proportion. This is likely caused by a miscommunication error or because someone took something the wrong way. Problems escalate to a point where the drama is extremely unnecessary and intolerable. Yeah, I’m not down for that.

Ready Steady.
I’m glad we took our time in getting to know each other before we took the step of jumping into a relationship. It enabled us to build a stable foundation in which our blossoming partnership would be based on. Not only that, but I also got to know you as a person rather than admiring you through infatuation. The steps we took to get to where we are now are crucial, at least to me they are. I...

Him: Babe I wouldn't ever yell at you if I was mad. That wouldn't make sense.
Me: Why wouldn't it make sense?
Him: Because, why would you yell at someone who cares about you and is trying to help you? If I was mad and I saw you, I'd just be happy.
