It depends on how badly it affects your grade. You need at least a C in the class to pass. If you get a D, you still get the credits, but you don’t pass the class. Don’t sweat it: colleges don’t pay much attention to your freshman year. But that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t work hard! Haha.
